About the Owner:
Hello! My name is Donna Roddy-Petersen and I am the proud owner/operator of the e² Young Engineers NW Las Vegas, NV franchise. I began conducting e² Young Engineers programs in the Spring of 2017, and have since grown to love these programs more and more every day!
When we first discovered the e² Young Engineers programs, my husband and I instantly fell in love with the concept and ultimately found a way to bring e² Young Engineers to Nevada! As a classroom teacher, I strongly feel that our children deserve every opportunity possible to further their understanding of how things work, and what better method of doing so than by utilizing the universally loved LEGO® brick and combining it with a well thought out curriculum. What ultimately won me over is witnessing firsthand how these programs make the learning process fun, allowing children to have so much fun building and playing and then they leave the class with a further understanding of various concepts in the STEM fields…something that is so crucial in our children’s education today.
I graduated from Capella University with a Masters in Education, and worked as a classroom teacher for many years. I am the proud mother of two children. My son is in his third year at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (working toward his PH.D!). My daughter is attending Northwest Career and Technical Academy, a local charter high school where her program focus is media arts.
If you have any questions about our programs or operations at all, please don’t hesitate to contact me directly at firstname.lastname@example.org or 702.328.8168.
Thank you and we look forward to seeing you at one of our classes soon!
